Could these get any cuter? Peter Rabbit Pop-out Portraits that are perfect for decorating your walls.
You will need:
- a grown-up to help you
- strong cardboard like an old box
- an egg carton
- an egg tray
- dark blue, light blue and green paper
- brown, beige, black and white paint pens
- scissors and glue
Step by Step - Peter Rabbit Portrait:
- 1.Make an oval shaped template and use it to cut out a light blue paper background. Add a semi-circle of dark blue paper to the bottom of the oval for Peters jacket.
- 2.Take some strips of green paper and make small cuts to give them plant like qualities.
- 3.Using the back of an eggtray cut 2 raised mounds for Peters nose, trim the base to make them smooth. Now with the egg carton cut 3 of the taller raised bits for Peters ears and chest. Decorate his nose, ears and chest with the markers to give a fur like quality, add eyes and a mouth with a black marker.
- 4.Cut out a green strip of paper to make the sash of Peters bag.

Time to layer up! Start with the light blue background, then add the plant fronds, Peters dark blue jacket, chest fur and sash. Place Peters ears down and lastly add his nose. Glue it all in place, add a cardboard frame and you’re ready to hang your Peter Rabbit portrait.
TIP: glue the ears to the head first to make it easier to stick down.
