Let Sumner take you there with their huge run at Madonna's 'Like A Prayer' for Like A Version.
The duo went all out with their debut in the studio, pulling the track into a bunch of different realms including UK garage, atmospheric a capella and futuristic acid house.
"We love taking classic songs and making them our own," multi-instrumentalist and one half Jack McLaine said.
"One of the really cool things about covering a song that's been so big for so long is that you get to tap into many different versions and other covers and other interpolations."
But the lutruwita/Tasmania duo knew they couldn't do this cover justice just on their own - so they brought in some reinforcements.
"A big, fun part of it was introducing the supporting musicians as well," Jack said.
"It's normally just Chloe and I so getting a drummer and the amazing vocalists that we had in was a huge part for us. Especially on a track like 'Like A Prayer' being so backing vocal heavy. That was a really fun part of the process."
Absolutely vibrating with energy and an incredible itch to absolutely launch it, Sumner really etched themselves deep into the Like A Version archives with this debut.
