One of the Northern Territory's biggest and most loved commercial nurseries has closed down.

After nearly 50 years of operation, Chris Nathanael has closed Tropiculture Australia due to health reasons.

A legend of the NT's horticultural industry, Mr Nathanael sat down with ABC Rural to talk about the business, its legacy, his love of tropical fruits, and the origins of his green thumb!
